FITTING BRASS CASTORS
The castor can be screwed into place easily, as the screw extends through the Brass body of the castor to a standard 'Philips' or single slot screwdriver head.
WHICH SIZE FITS
If you are fitting the castors to a narrow leg, the size will depend on the diameter at the bottom of the leg. ie if the bottom of the leg is 1 1/8" diameter, the 1 1/8" is the correct castor to fit. anything larger and the 'plate' will stick out from the bottom of the leg.
UPHOLSTERERS TIP
If you are replacing a pair of Brass Castors (never replace just one) and if the original hole has worn oversize, you can fill the hole with 'Plastic Padding' or 'Araldite' screw the castor into the filler, remove excess filler, and leave to set.
