UPHOLSTERERS TIPS
You may find that the cups do not fit exactly, this is not unusual. The bottom of the legs can either be carefully trimmed down with a chisel or file, or increased in size with a filler. It is advisable to make small pilot holes to take the retaining screws in the wood, especially if the wooden leg is old and a hardwood. Wood can get harder with age.
