Upholstery Warehouse has been a trusted name in upholstery supplies for over 35 years. Founded in West Sussex in 1989, the business was built around a simple premise: upholsterers — whether hobbyists tackling a first project or seasoned professionals running a busy workshop — should be able to get hold of quality materials without the minimum orders and trade-only barriers that made sourcing so difficult for so long.

From a showroom and mail order operation on the south coast, the business grew steadily into one of the UK’s most recognised online suppliers of upholstery materials, building a loyal customer base over more than three decades.

What We Stock

Our range covers everything an upholsterer needs, from the bare frame to the finished surface. Fabrics, vinyls and faux leathers in hundreds of colourways. Foam and polyester wrap, cut to size. Hessian, scrim, calico and lining cloths. Traditional materials including hair and fibre fillings, laid cord and spring twines. Decorative trims — braid, gimp, fancy nails and nail tape. Tools, pins, needles, staples and threads. Furniture legs, feet, frames and gas struts. Cane and caning supplies. If it belongs in an upholstery workshop, you’ll find it here.

We stock materials suitable for every style of project — contemporary drop-in seats, traditional sprung armchairs, antique restoration work and commercial reupholstery alike. Small quantities are always welcome; there are no minimum order requirements.

Upholstery Warehouse has recently passed to new ownership, with fresh investment and a renewed focus on range, service and delivery. The business continues to operate under the same name and with the same mission that has served customers well since 1989: quality materials, honest advice, and fast dispatch to anywhere in the UK.

Next-day delivery is available on the majority of our mainland UK orders, and our team is on hand Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, to help with product queries, foam sizing or anything else you need before you order.
